The two types of workshops generally have different goals. One type - 'Let's Build a Model' - uses a hypothetical case study approach to develop participants' modeling skills. The workshop is customized to match the participants' learning objectives. In the second type - 'Let's Build Your Model' - the focus is on modeling a specific real-world problem facing the participants.`In that case, participants typically bring some modeling experience to the workshop, where they are guided through a group model-building session.
